Amici Ristorante in Niles

This place has been around a long time. It is comfortable and fairly priced. It is not a hot spot but it is a great spot. It is not trendy but it is a great place to go. The food is good. I would definitely go back.

The restuarant has a very cozy atmosphere. It's a nice neighborhood place with small town feel. The food was good not great. A huge plus was their wine selection. Very nice choices, and affordable per glass pricing.

Don't bother. Kind of a lousy restaurant. Baked clams dry and simply a waste. Terrible wine list. Chicken parmesan deep fried tasting. One bite and I left the rest. Hostess stopped by asking if everything was good but didn't bother to awaited an answer. The server was nice.

Amico always has great food and great service. I brought another co worker for her first time. She felt the same and thanked me for taking her to Amici. Great Place!!!! Great Food!!!

Clean, cozy atmosphere, attentive knowledgeable staff, and delicious food! The music is at a comfortable level that is audible but not too loud.

Generic food, good service but a little pricey

I've always loved going here. Clams needed more baking, otherwise, Might be more of memories for me than actual bad anything about this place. , my grandma loved this place, last time I had gone was with her, while I was pregnant, over the winter.she passed away in February. So it was bittersweet going there without her. Got her favorite raviolis and they were delicious

This restaurant looks really nice from the outside, the interior is a bit dated. Came in a group of four, we all ordered different menu items. Unfortunately all of us were disappointed with the food, it wasn't good at all. My chicken parmigiana tasted and looked like it just came out of a microwave. The sauce, definitely from a can. None of us will be coming back here.

This is my absolute favorite Italian restaurant. Food is out standing and the service is very good if your ever in the Niles area this is the place to go. Veal parmigiana and cannoli are to die for

Overall it’s pretty good, but I’ve had some mixed experiences. The service is usually good, but the food can be hit or miss. The last two times I was there my pasta dish was excellent, but last time the breaded fried eggplant was clearly fried in oil that needed to be changed, and my glass of Chardonnay was stale. The person I was dining with didn’t even finish hers. I finished mine out of principle. I’ll go back, but I’ll probably stick to the classics.

Great food and service.

Delicious Italian cuisine. Our group ordered a wide variety of food plus desserts. We really enjoyed our dinners. Our server was so nice and knowledgeable.

I think they need Gordon Ramsay to come and save them. It was the same as 30 years ago. It smelled old same decor. Smelled moldy where we sat. The napkins smelled musty. I looked under the vinyl table cloth and the table was falling apart. Ordered calamari and it was nasty. Then tried the bake claims I had to send them back, they were beyond eating. We definitely didn't order anything else. The house wine and our waitress were amazing. Definitely will not go back there.

Great place for entertainment, and special occasions, the most important is the food and service.

This restaurant was picked by my niece for my partner's birthday dinner. We had not visited here before but am very happy we ended up here. There were 5 in our party and the waitress was friendly, fun and attentive. I had the Mama's Lasagna and everyone else had Mussels Marinara. All of of which were delicious. It was a fun relaxing evening and we will definitely be coming back for more :)

Nice little Italian restaraunt. Been going there for quite a few years and always have had a good meal. Little on the pricier side but you do get what you pay for.

Had a great dinner on Thursday November 15. I had chicken piccata, others had shrimp with linguine and the special of the day:scallops and shrimp over a bed of linguine. The service was excellent and dessert was on the house for the birthday girl. Will definitely go back.

Delicious, large portions, charming old world Italian restaurant. Dean Martin singing in the back ground. Like going home to mama's house, and mama was the best Italian cook in the neighbor .

I used to love taking my mom here she loved the food I haven't been here in 10 years and the great thing about this is that the consistency of this restaurant is unbelievably excellent you will truly enjoy your dining experience the food is delicious and the service by Sydney was wonderful

Everything was pretty much average, except for desert which was stale. It’s shame because the place is big and it’s cozy inside

The staff here is a hot mess. There is no communication amongst each other and as a result half the tables were fed while the other half did not receive any food. We were a big party but called ahead of time . We called again 10 minutes after the first call to update the head count and they have the nerve to tell us that the 2nd call never happened once we arrived. If they were not able to handle our party count they should have denied us.Food was ok , not worth the price, definitely would have gotten my money’s worth somewhere else .

We met with friends at this place for lunch. This spot was recommended to us by a friend. Well, we were not disappointed. The staff welcomed us with a smile and we felt excellent. The food was just great. We loved this place a lot and we will visit this place again. Recommended.

Do yourself a favor!!!... DO NOT COME TO AMICI on Harlem and Milwaukee ave...You will regret it!!!.... First time came to celebrate eating outside in the patio... The Worst Service ever!...... Bruchetta wrong ingredients!.... slow service!. Much better places to go: La Villa on Pulaski!... Gale Street Inn on Milwaukee... Lou Malnati's on Skoky!...

Love the food and the friendly employees

We have eaten at Amici’s a handful of times in the past and the food had always been very good. But since we moved away we haven’t dined here in a few years. On this day we made a last minute decision to have a small family lunch after a funeral. There was minimal to no notice for a party of 25 people but the manager and Amici staff accommodated our party with no issues. The service was very good and the food even better. It was a sad day for our family but the staff at Amici made it a bit brighter. There was no complaint once so ever from the staff and the food was spot on. Thank you

Loved the atmosphere

Amici is a go to for my family. They are a solid place for old school Italian restaurants. This most recent time my wife had the rigatoni in alfredo sauce and she really enjoyed it and she is hard to please when it comes to food. So for her to say it is good that goes a long way.I had the chicken parmesan and it was okay. The sauce was not super flavorful with spices, but it was a good sized portion and the chicken was good.If you are looking for traditional take on American Italian cuisine then hit up Amici. If you are looking for new wave fusion cooking this may not be your cup of tea.

Great old world decor both inside and out. Food was excellent as well, but service needs to be worked on. We were a party of two that was seated by the hostess and forgotten about until a waitress inquired on whether we were serviced; apparently the hostess left without telling anyone about us.
